The Summer Reading Program is conducted every summer with new themes and fun activities geared toward children and reading. “Libraries Rock” is the theme for 2018 Summer Reading Program. Join us as we explore science, music and art!

The Salt River Tribal Library has served the Community for more than 30 years.

The library hosts more than 13,000 books and periodicals. Our Sebastian Juan Memorial Collection contains books on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and other tribes in Arizona. Our large Southwest Native American Collection continues to grow.

The library offers a continuous range of programs for all ages, including holiday crafting, Story Times and more.

Renew your library materials over the phone! Call on or before the due date. Have your library card, items and a pencil ready to write your new due date. For assistance with renewals, call 480-362-2557.

Library Patron Information

  • Must present your library card to check out items.
  • Limit of 4 items per check out.
  • The check out period for books and audiobooks is 3 weeks.
  • There are 15 computer stations available to patrons; time limit is 1 hour/person.
  • Black and white printer - Copies 10¢/page
  • Color printer - Copies 50¢/page
  • Faxes - $1/page (US numbers only)
