Literacy for All
Our program began its journey as Native Youth Community Projects in 2018, thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, which ended in 2023. That's when we became Literacy for All with our funding structured under the U.S. Health and Human Services Child Care Development Fund, a program of the Early Childhood Education Center.

CCDF Quality Goals
We focus on improving literacy, language, and culture services by providing activities and events for Native students (ages birth to 12 years old) and families of any federally recognized tribe. LFA organizes and participates in events with Salt River Schools, SRPMIC, and local partners. In addition, we outreach to surrounding schools, CCDF childcare providers, and other agencies to provide literacy materials and programs for Native American students throughout the Phoenix Valley.
