SRES will take WIDA February 22-23, 2022.

Students in Salt River Schools participate each year in spring summative testing per ADE and BIE policies. A reminder to families:

• Summative Assessments are a Federal mandate (Every Student Succeeds Act; ESSA) and State Law [Arizona (A.R.S. 15-755); BIE (Final Rule)]
• U.S. Department of Education is the only entity which can submit a waiver suspending testing
• The various assessment calendars created by ADE and BIE give a window of dates for District/Divisions to test students
• All summative assessments are administered in-person

Salt River Schools will conduct testing according to ADE & BIE requirements following SRPMIC safety guidelines.

• February: WIDA Assessment (Salt River Elementary Students)
• March: AzSCI (Accelerated Learning Academy)
• April: BIE ELA/Math/Science (Salt River Elementary Students) and ACT (Accelerated Learning Academy)
