Your Vote Matters!

November 6 is an important election and we hope all those 18+ will flex their civic muscles (and rights!) as U.S. citizens to vote and make their voice heard!

Teaching students the importance of voting is something Salt River Schools takes seriously. Our students will be participating in their own vote to decide the name of the new Talking Stick shuttle bus: Gus the Bus, Green Lightning, or Sunny the Shuttle.

Please encourage your students to participate, and model positive civic responsibility by casting your own ballot between now and Nov. 6.

Here's the schedule of events for each school site:

• ALA: 10:30 a.m. at the SRPMIC Get Out The Vote event at the Salt River Community Building (more info at 480-362-2130)
• SRES: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Library (more info at 480-362-2400)
• ECEC: 11 a.m. | Gathering Place (more info at 480-362-2200)
• SRHS: 12:11-12:41 p.m. | Cafeteria (more info at 480-362-2000)
